i have an administrative assistant certificate and owe 8500. in student loans i currently work for the State of RI in the Office of Rehabilitation Services. Is there any way of finding help to repay my student loan as i cannot afford the monthly payments.

I have a Master’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in behavior therapy. I am currently in the dissertation phase of an online Ph.D. program. I have paid for my education, almost exclusively, through federal stafford loans. The total cost of my education is in excess of 100,000 dollars. I have spent all of my career (approximately 14 years) providing therapeutic services for individuals with developmental disabilities, children with severe emotional/behavioral disturbances, and families with a variety of dysfunctional issues. The vast majority of these individuals/families are from lower socioeconomic backgrounds, as they are at or below the poverty level. I also have an extensive history of service to individuals from these populations in the public school setting. Are there some loan forgiveness programs available that could assist me in eliminating at least a portion of my student loan debt in light of the population that I have and continue to serve. Please reply.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree/Social Work Major. I have recently graduated and not able to work because I am a care giver for an elderly parent. I am also a single mom raising an 11 year old. Is there a loan forgiveness program that will help me with my situation?

i have about 11,000.00 in debt with student loans. I work with people with developmental disabilities.. I would like help with my student loans.. I have not started paying them and i graduated in about 10 years ago but i can not afford to pay them back … help
