In many other countries, financial aid is not available because higher education is free or very low cost (Europe etc.) In US, if you have a bad credit history because you are a poor person your options are very limited. So much for the “richest” country in the world!

If bad credit student loans weren’t available, I would be in a world of mess because I really messed up my credit when I was younger. I’m glad that I don’t live in one of the many countries that don’t have financial aid available.
